A History of Student Movements and Activism at Evergreen State College and the Greater Nation Resource Type: Article Published: 2016 Students and student movements have played a major role in struggles for reform and revolution in the United States and around the world. Before I turn to Evergreen, I will give a few examples, mainly from the United States in the 1960’s. I will also share a few conclusions based on many years of activism with student movements.
