Abstract: Healing Images is proposed as a month-long art exhibition/symposium to be held from November 9 to December 19, 1990, in Toronto. Sponsored by "A Bunch of Feminists", the goal is to engage artists and the broader community in the creation and discussion of images and concepts about violence against women. The organizers' main objective is to bring together artists and social/community workers/activists. Participation by women, men and children is encouraged in the workshops and panel discussions to be held together with the performances, readings, screenings and exhibitions.
