Abstract: This early 1970s pamphlet addresses activists in the Canadian trade union movement who are given the task of revitalizing the labour movement by mobilizing for rank and file control. Section 1 begins with an explanation of Canada’s place in the American empire and an analysis of the trade unions' response to date. Section 2 outlines “A Program for Immediate Discussion and Action” and ends with an appeal to all workers to join the socialist movement.
