The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) announces that for the month ending January 31, 2015, the assets under management (AUM) for the mutual funds industry reached $1.18 trillion.
Abstract: Toronto, ON – February 19, 2015 – The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) announces that for the month ending January 31, 2015, the assets under management (AUM) for the mutual funds industry reached $1.18 trillion. Year-to-date, industry AUM increased by $38.5 billion or 3.4%. Net sales for the mutual funds industry totalled $5.36 billion. Net sales of long-term funds were $5.52 billion and net redemptions of money market funds were $159.7 million.
