Abstract: This folder, written by the Taskforce on the Churches and Corporate Responsibility (a coalition of Canadian churches which addresses questions of corporate social responsibility) states the case against further Canadian bank loans to the government of South Africa. It is designed as a hand-out for the general public, and church-people in particular. The major implications of apartheid for black South Africans are set out in points. Action steps for persons wanting to resist further bank loans to the South African government are indicated; addresses of the five chartered baks alreasy involved in loans to the South African government are given.
